ok I have not seen the final episode of Samurai Champloo yet, so please no spoilers. annnnnd if you haven't seen the last few episodes, then skip all this, spoilers ahead
you know what episode of Samurai Champloo was really creepy? episode 22. zombies scouring an old abandoned mine for 500 years, chowing down on wasabi. crazy. and I loved how it practically ended off that they all die, but the series continues nonetheless :0 love.
this was a watercolor commission for a guy who was too patient for his own good. this is going to be mailed off, like pronto (along with his other one >.> ). I love it when people have patience <3
of course, the scanner beat the living daylights out of it, but at least he gets the original @_@ the color's not too terribly off (save for all that 'red' in the background, wtf BROWN, SCANNER DO YOU SPEAK IT) since I wanted to play around with muted colors and hints of vibrant color. he IS dead, after all xD dear Shige, your awesome will live on...
all right, image info, ahoy!

Seriously though, I wonder how the director comes up with a wacky story like that. Did he dream it? What was he on when he wrote it? Either way, it was one funny episode, loved it, especially the wasabi.
This is an amazing commission by the way. Yea, I love people who are patient. ^___^
I thought Shige was one of the more intriguing characters in the show. It wasn't my favorite episode (and I will keep my mouth shut XD) but creepy and awesome all the same. I love your watercolor work. Very well done.

Dubbed Anime is like a nice pizza with dog poop on it. There still might be a tastey pizza underneath, but I've lost my appetite for it.
