:p i like the new coloring. more brave than i am. im in this little color comfort zone, and im loth to leave it. that whole fear of fucking up a good piece becuase i coloured it like a retard.X3

Hehe, I've been leeching off of Tetsuya Nomura's artwork lately, mainly Kingdom Hearts, Bouncer, and Parasite Eve concept art. LOVELY ;O; I used to use lots of blues in shadows, but got scared, trying to be artsy fartsy for art school. But it wasn't fun :\ I know how you feel, though. Maybe check out Nomura's art, give it a shot? ^^ It helped me out tons! It'll kick the fear right outta ya!

i admire his work..not much of a fan of his more recent stuff though..the UBER angular stuff... just...too harsh for my tastes. i love him for his FF7 and 8 work though..and bouncer. X3

It's called Lost Souls by Poppy Z. Brite. From what I've gathered from my friend's rants and ravings it's about homosexual vampires kickin' it in the South...or something xD It's a good read if you like that sort of thing >:3
